Organisation Chart

The organisational chart illustrates the research structure of the Faculty of Medicine.

At the top is the Vice Dean. Affiliated with it are the Research Council and the Ethics Commission as independent bodies.

Three organisational units report to the Vice Dean for Research: the Research Office MED, the Clinical Competence Centre (3C), and 13 research centres.

These units support the Medical Research and Clinical Competence Centre (MFZ), which servesas a central research facility. Equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and experiencedspecialist staff, the MFZ laboratories provide a solid foundation for basic research at the Faculty.In addition, the MFZ collaborates with the clinical departments across its core subject areas.
