Current areas of specialisation:

Arezou Schulz focuses on supporting the reintegration of patients into society, always prioritising self-determination and ethical principles. She coordinates socio-medical aftercare and ensures a smooth transition from inpatient to outpatient treatment. It also identifies the individual needs of patients in order to ensure customised care. In the development and implementation of discharge plans, attention is paid to ethically sound and resource-orientated support that takes the person as a whole into account.

Works as a doctor of psychosomatic and internal medicine, psychoanalyst and group analyst in his own practice. As a supervisor, trainer and balint group leader, he has a wide-ranging insight into the conflict-laden daily routine of medical practice. His focus is on the interfaces between the development of personalities and society with its medical institutions, which in their interaction determine the concrete practice of ethical behaviour in everyday life.
