Faculty Clinic of the Sigmund Freud Private University

The AUVA Trauma Centre Vienna at the Meidling (1120 Vienna) and Lorenz Böhler (1200 Vienna) sites now bears the additional designation “Faculty Clinic of the Sigmund Freud Private University”.
This addition to the name reflects the comprehensive teaching and research co-operation between the AUVA and the SFU.
Both SFU students and patients benefit from the collaboration in such diverse areas as hand surgery, dental trauma, intensive medical rehabilitation, musculoskeletal diseases, osteoporosis, shock and sepsis, shock wave therapy and tissue engineering.
As research and teaching is also carried out in the field of psychology and trauma, the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Psychology are also involved.
Medicine, the Faculties of Psychology and Psychotherapy Science are also involved in the co-operation.
