The Learning Space on the 5th floor is a place for learning. In addition to 25 study places, relevant magazines and journals are available for viewing as additional literature.
The opening hours are Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00 (excluding public holidays).

In the analogue library on the 3rd floor at Freudplatz 1, room 3012, you will find a reference collection of textbooks relevant to medical studies.
Opening hours: Mon-Fri: 10am-6pm
The reading room, room 3001, can currently only be used after prior personal registration in the library.

Once you have received your matriculation number, you have access to the entire online database of the
Society of Physicians in Vienna. These are in particular large databases of relevant journals.
This membership is free of charge for SFU MED students for the entire duration of their studies, provided you register with an SFU e-mail address.

The learning portal via medici gives you access to interactive learning modules, over 30,000 IMPP exam questions, 120 current Thieme textbooks, eRef libraries “Internal Medicine” and “Dentistry”, interactive and adaptive learning courses, numerous case studies and visual diagnoses, specialist journals and much more.
The learning modules can be displayed in via medici by subject, organ system or according to the SFU MED curriculum.

To order books, we recommend that you visit the Facultas Shop on the WU campus or use the online book list, which you can access via the following link https://www.facultas.at/sfu_med. Here you will find recommended literature for the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes in Human Medicine and Dentistry at SFU MED. The recommended literature is constantly updated and regularly agreed with SFU MED lecturers and approved by the faculty.
