The Faculty of Medicine at Sigmund Freud Private University offers degree programmes in human medicine (Bachelor: BScMed and Master: Dr. med. univ.) and dentistry (Bachelor: BScMed and Master: Dr. med. dent.). In the Bachelor’s programme, students learn the basics of medical knowledge with a close interweaving of pre-clinical and clinical subjects. The programme is characterised by early patient contact and the teaching of extensive diagnostic knowledge. Medical dialogue skills are taught in close cooperation with the Faculty of Psychotherapy Science. The Master’s degree programme in Dentistry is characterised by in-depth medical knowledge through to therapy, research as part of the Master’s thesis and a clinical internship year at the University Clinic for Dentistry at SFU.
